Welcome
Trinity, we seek to welcome all people into our community of faith that prays and cares for each of its members. Through our presence and service, we seek to be a place of deep hospitality. We strive to welcome Christ in each person, serve Christ through all people in need, gratefully receive the grace of Christ in each person, and rejoice with Christ through all who come to us in joy.
Common Prayer
Our worship is central to our practices of hospitality in the Episcopal Church and here at Trinity. In worship we participate in God’s hospitality and welcome others to the table. We come together as full participants in the shared work of the liturgy.

Mission and Ministry
Our faith calls us into loving service of our neighbor. With our time, talent, and treasure we aim to participate in the Mission of God here in Ottumwa.
FIRST SUNDAY IN JUNE.
Two days left in May, I'm amazed at how quickly the days get past me.
We are officially in Pentecost and we will be "green" until Advent.

"It takes talent to get to the top, it takes character to stay there" (Bill Walton)
Hard for me to believe this is our last Sunday in May. Time goes so quickly. We got through graduation last Sunday.
Thanks to all who participate in the "red" food drive for the Lord's Cupboard for Pentecost. Carol got the items delivered.
Carol and I have made arrangements to have our church flower beds mulched. I did some additional planting on the 5th street side. It was looking sparse and Diane from St. Paul graciously donated some perennial ferns, and I also added three more hosta. Julaiane was working on the Market Street side Sunday.
SUNDAY, MAY 26, 2024: Service of Holy Eucharist, 10:30 a.m. service
Birthdays: Su Brown, May 27
Family of the Week: Doug & Linda Propp
Sanctuary Candle: In memory of Jon Neis, by Neis family
We all have a lot to be thankful for, reach out, check on family or friends, sometimes all it takes to cheer someone up is a phone call or quick text.

SUNDAY, APRIL 28, 2024, Service of Holy Eucharist
Fr. Gregg Davidson has agreed to serve a few Sundays into the fall. Always easier when they volunteer their services, all Shep has to do is confirm Sundays and get with Leslie. I do know that beginning in July the 3rd Sunday of each month will be the service of Morning Prayer, and the Vestry will meet following that service.
BLESSINGS OUTREACH:
We are doing this outreach on a monthly basis, and this should get us through the remainder of 2024.
May Mary
June Carol
July Deb
August DarlaSeptember Su
October Mary
November Carol
I did not go any farther out because the kitchen usually closes the week of Christmas and New Years.
SUNDAY, MAY 19, 2024, Service of Holy Eucharist
Anniversaries: Shep & Su Brown, May 19
George & Deb Hoguet, May 24
Family of the Week: Julaine & Wes Olson
I'm hoping to get to a couple of ball games tonight, weather doesn't appear to be cooperating, but who knows, it may clear off.
Please reach out to friends and family. Do what you can with what you've got. Peace out my friends.
